Shower Revitalization Process: 

Assessment

During the initial phase, our expert shower installers will schedule an assessment to determine the applicability of our service to your shower. We'll evaluate the condition of the tile and shower to provide you with a thorough recommendation. 

Phase 1: Removal

We will coordinate with our shower installers to safely remove the existing shower panel(s) and channel. The glass will be carefully stored onsite until it is ready to be reinstalled at a later date. During the interim period between Phase 1 and Phase 2, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the tile is thoroughly cleaned and any necessary repairs to the tile or grout are addressed before proceeding to Phase 2.

Phase 2: Reinstall

In the second phase, our skilled team will reinstall the panel(s) to rejuvenate your shower enclosure. We'll install a new piece of channel to hold the door panel and replace seals along the edges of the door and panel(s). Our technicians will meticulously recaulk the panel and install a new door sweep for optimal performance. As part of our Shower Revitalization service, we provide new caulk, bulb/seals, sweep, channel, squeegee, and ensure handles/hardware are tightened and the shower door is adjusted as needed.

Exclusions:

• Cleaning of tile (must be done before installation for a good caulk seal)
• Repair of tile or grout
• Replacing scratched or damaged hardware or glass
• Repair of the shower pan, curb, or other surfaces and structures

Please note that Wolverine Glass is not responsible or liable for any scratches or damage to the tile or glass in the shower. Additionally, the customer will need to provide a place for the glass panel(s) between removal and reinstallation, and we are not responsible for damage that occurs during storage.

1. Will you perform this service on a shower that someone else installed?

Maybe. This will be determined during the assessment. Wolverine Glass reserves the right to refuse to perform this service.

2. Can you do this on a framed or semi-frameless shower door?

No, this service is only for Euro or Frameless shower doors.

3. Where will you go to do this service?

This service is available to customers within the greater Ann Arbor/Washtenaw County area, generally within a 45-minute drive of our showroom.
